They operate two ready-mixed concrete plants in Somerset and one in Wiltshire, and their sister company Morris & Perry Ltd operates a further plant in North Somerset.

The brief
Create a modern design to improve the overall look and feel of the website and enhance the user experience. The client asked for a mobile-friendly site, having recognised that a significant proportion of their web traffic was arriving from mobile and tablet devices that the old site did not serve well.
They also needed a straightforward way for visitors to order a delivery of ready-mixed concrete online — something the previous site had no facility for at all.
We built the site on WebGuru, our own custom content management system. WebGuru lets clients manipulate content, upload new banners, edit pages and build well-structured pages that encourage visitors to interact with the calls to action — without needing a developer for routine changes.

A bespoke form built to let customers order specific quantities of ready-mixed concrete for delivery, calculating the volume required rather than expecting the customer to work it out.
