What is a pay monthly website?
A pay monthly website is a website you pay for in monthly instalments instead of one large bill at the start. With us, the monthly price is not just the website. It is the design, every word on every page, the hosting that keeps it online, your web address, your business email and someone to ring when you need a hand. You pay the same amount every month, from £69 plus VAT, and there is no set-up fee.
Most web design companies ask for the whole cost of a website before they start, or a large deposit and the rest at launch, and then charge again every year for the hosting, the web address and the email. A pay monthly website puts all of that into one fixed monthly price. A small business gets a properly designed website without finding thousands of pounds up front, and without a pile of separate bills afterwards.
It suits any business that wants a website that looks the part and brings in enquiries, but would rather spend its money on the business than on a one-off build: tradespeople, builders, garages, salons, cafés, consultants, haulage firms, charities and anyone just starting out.

How much does a pay monthly website cost?
Our websites cost £69 or £119 a month, depending on the plan. Each is one fixed price a month with nothing to pay up front, and both include the design, the words, hosting, your web address, your email and support. The minimum contract is 12 months. After that it carries on month to month and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Prices are plus VAT.

Pay monthly websites: your questions answered
Is there anything to pay up front?
No. There is no set-up fee and no deposit. You pay your first month when you buy, by card, and then the same amount each month after that. Anything extra you ask for is always quoted and agreed with you first.
What does the monthly price cover?
It covers designing, writing and building your website, and then looking after it: the hosting, your SSL certificate and daily backups, your web address, your business email and our support. On Grow it also covers your own login, a blog, the AI chat assistant and two hours of changes every month.
How long is the contract on a pay monthly website?
The minimum contract is 12 months from your first payment. After that it carries on month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice. Your monthly price is fixed for the first 12 months, and after that we give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any change.
What happens if I cancel before the 12 months are up?
You can cancel, but the remaining monthly payments up to the end of the 12 months are still due, because that is what the price without a set-up fee is built on. After the first 12 months you can cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice, and your web address is transferred to you free of charge.
Do I own my pay monthly website?
Your words, your pictures, your logo and your web address are yours, and you can take them with you at any time. The system the website runs on is ours, and looking after it is what the monthly price pays for. If you ever leave, your web address is transferred to you free of charge, and we can provide a copy of your website for another provider, quoted at the time.
Can I update the website myself?
On Grow, yes. You get your own login and can change every page, word and picture yourself, whenever you like, and we make two hours of changes a month for you as well. On Get Online we make the changes for you at £75 an hour, always quoted first.
Who writes the words on my website?
We do, and it is included in both plans. You fill in a short checklist about your business and we write every page from it, with the on-page SEO built in. If you already have words you are happy with, send them over and we use yours instead.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes. If you already have one, like yourbusiness.co.uk, we connect it and renew it for you at no extra cost. If you have not got one, we help you choose it and buy it for you, free for the first year and then £50 a year, spread across your monthly payments.
How quickly will my website be live?
Within a week of your checklist coming back to us. If you need it sooner, we can have it live in two days for an extra charge, agreed with you before we start.
What if I don't like the design?
You get as many changes to the design as you want until you are happy with it. We do not count rounds and we do not charge for them. The design is not finished until you say it is.
Are pay monthly websites good for SEO?
Ours are. Every website we build has its words written with on-page SEO built in, and schema markup that tells Google and AI search what your business is and what it does. Both are included in both plans.
What if I already have a website?
If you want to keep it, our Care plan looks after a website you already have, from £45 a month. If you would rather have a new one, a new website on a monthly plan replaces it and we connect your existing web address to it.
Can I sell products online?
Get Online and Grow are for websites that bring in enquiries. If you want to sell products online and take card payments, our Shop plan is £169 a month and includes a full online shop.
Do the prices include VAT?
No. The prices are shown without VAT, and VAT at 20% is added when you pay.
