We’re currently looking for an ambitious individual to join our Web Development team at a junior level to help build beautiful eCommerce websites and to progress their level of technical knowledge and skillset.
You’ll become part of the core development team that strives for quality, exceeds client expectations and loves to push themselves further daily. Enthusiasm and passion for your skillset are expected, along with being able to prioritise workloads to meet demand and client expectations and being comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing agency. We’re looking for an individual motivated to learn and improve alongside us who can come up with new, exciting ideas that we can embrace as a team. You’ll be helping develop slight to enterprise-level builds for a range of clients, bringing our in-house-made designs to life -working closely with our design team to ensure client expectations are met. Additional responsibilities will include scoping, developing, testing and delivering other features and functionalities.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in a Web Development environment and as part of a team with experience working with a wide range of Web Programming Languages. However, presenting yourself with a hard-working, willingness to learn, and passion for what you do daily is most important. Responsibilities:
- Working with the development team to develop web & e-commerce solutions utilising HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (ES6+) & Laravel etc
- Build & maintain our in-house built API solutions using PHP & Laravel
- Working across multiple projects simultaneously
Ideally you will have:
- Ideally, four years experience working in a development environment
- Building websites using HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript (ES6+)
- A PHP framework such as Laravel
- React or other Javascript libraries for building user interfaces
- Version control & git
- Developing, Interpreting, maintaining and working with APIs
- Templating languages
- A CMS platform such as WordPress
- Understanding of UX cross-platform/responsive design
