This module is used to change all of the web content (images & text) that appear on any of your website pages.  It is from this module that you can change the look and feel of all the information on any page of your website. Mediatopia have given users the ability to become designers of their own web pages using a multitude of different web content layouts. The ability to use different fonts, font colours, font sizes means that you are not limited to the style and layout of content.

This module also allows you to administer the ‘Search Engine Optimisation‘ of your website – write your own Meta page titles and Meta page descriptions and input your own chosen keywords! Advanced marketeers will find this feature very useful – Please note* As standard Mediatopia will optimise your home page as part of the website design process.

JavaScript has now replaced flash as the new medium for moving images on the web, flash is an old technology that does not appear on modern mobile phones and tablet devices. When viewing flash websites on Apple products such as the iPhone and iPad there is a big blank space which looks unattractive and visitors to your website will leave without looking at your website. JavaScript however is viewable on iPhone’s and iPad’s and you cannot tell the difference from a layman’s point of view.

JavaScript animation is one of the most effective ways to attract attention online. It has become a popular design and marketing tool and a way to give your business a sophisticated and professional image on the web.

We can tastefully put together images that merge and fade away to be replaced by another – we call this a fade, you can however choose a number of different fade options, as there are many effects such as a wave effect, dots, simultaneous images each fading and overlapping each other, the possibilities are endless!

You can upload files to the CMS (Content Management System)  that customers can download. Files can be assigned to any page.  There is a multitude of uses that this function can be used for, you might have an intense product diagram that you cannot explain or re-create on your website, you can upload this to the ‘Document Download’ section and assign at the end of some text, then a customer just clicks on it and it will download to their PC automatically and then they can print it off.  This feature has a whole host of benefits.

Upload as many images as you want to be displayed on your website. Create as many galleries as you want and display them on what page you want.  Images will be displayed as a pop up. Images will be displayed as a pre fixed size and will be automatically resized.  Choose the size of the thumbnails and give each image a description.

Banner images are useful content blocks which can be designed into your home page design, sidebar or header. They are specific areas where images can be uploaded and changed by you the administrator. They can be used for promotions, links or just general funky imagery.  Each time they are clicked on by a web visitor the CMS will track the click-throughs letting you understand the popularity of a certain offer or promotion.  They can be used for affiliate marketing purposes.

This module allows the user to create news stories or upcoming snippets of information to inform your customers of company-wide developments.  It is useful to use this feature and update it on a daily basis as clients will be able to see that your website is constantly being updated.  There is nothing worse than clicking on a website that has old news on it, as customers will think that no-one bothers with updating your website and this will deter them from looking any further or buying anything from your website.

News stories can be assigned to either the home page if the module is activated on the home page, or can be set up on any page that you nominate by linking the page to this module.

You can create a directory of links that can be assigned to any page that you want.  Links are good at adding credibility to your website, they might include specific governing bodies that you are members of or specific accredited businesses. Links can also be used to show your clients, websites that you recommend.

This feature will be designed into your website making this module static and you are not able to create multiple log-ins but you can administer the functionality in the admin area of your Content Management System. You can assign different access for each member, choose what pages they can see or can’t see. This module comes with a whole range of functionality. You can choose to offer members better deals than regular users.  The site will come with a member registry section and all of your members can be viewed via the CMS control panel.  You can then send mail shots to your database or newsletters & see when a member was last logged in.
